Our History

Coffman Truck Sales was founded in 1938 in Plano, IL as a trucking company, and soon added a repair shop and truck stop along Highway 34. A GMC truck franchise was acquired in 1949. In 1964, a second location was opened in Aurora, IL and our present facility was built in 1967, consolidating all operations. The WHITEGMC line (now VOLVO) was added in 1988. We have nearly 85,000 square feet of facilities on 12 acres of land dedicated exclusively to new and used truck sales, service, parts and related equipment and services.
